The roles of UX (User Experience), UI (User Interface), and Product Design are often misunderstood and conflated. While they share some common ground in terms of tasks, concepts, and methodologies, their approaches and outcomes differ significantly.
What do I do?
I look beyond aesthetics to tackle user challenges, whether it's improving usability, reducing friction, or elevating the overall product experience.
UX
I work with aspects related to usability, accessibility, user satisfaction, and task efficiency. Specifically, I focus on understanding the needs and expectations of different users to create products or services that are intuitive and efficient.

UI
I focus on creating visual elements, taking into account prior research conducted on the user. I aim to create attractive and functional interfaces that facilitate user interaction and enhance the overall experience.

Product Design
I bring UX/UI expertise to the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch. I collaborate across all stages, ensuring a user-centered approach while considering technical and commercial feasibility. This involves user research, concept development, design, prototyping, testing, and refinement.

Graphic Design
My studies in graphic design have provided me with an analytical perspective in product creation. I consistently apply my knowledge in layout design, typography, composition, color palettes, and user psychology, among other relevant aspects.

Design Principles
I prioritize creating value and ensuring the delivery of top-notch products. My design process is guided by four core elements, each connected to the previous one and providing a rationale for the next step.
Design Process
Frameworks
Design Thinking serves as my foundational framework, providing a structured approach to empathize with users, define problems, ideate solutions, and prototype and test them. However, I recognize that design is not a linear process, and I am comfortable adapting my methodology to the specific needs of each project.
My expertise extends beyond Design Thinking, encompassing a range of design frameworks and methodologies, including:
Design Sprint
Waterfall
Double Diamond
Lean UX
Journey Mapping
No two projects are identical. I leverage a core design process, but embrace iteration—revisiting steps as needed to ensure the best possible outcome. This flexibility, coupled with my senior-level experience, allows me to tailor my approach to each project's unique needs.

1) Define Requirements: Kick-off
I start by outlining business needs, deliverables, timeline, and expectations - ensuring everyone's on the same page. I document assumptions, hypotheses, and consolidate data for clear communication.

2) Explore the issues
I dive deep - gathering intel, engaging stakeholders, and understanding the problem's root. User reports guide me, and if formal research is limited, I leverage guerrilla interviews to prevent blind design decisions.

3) Interpret Results
I uncover user needs and pain points, refining personas and journeys. Here, clear goals and success metrics become our roadmap, ensuring user-centered design throughout.

4) Ideate solution
I love sparking creativity through collaborative brainstorming. Devs, designers, and stakeholders all join forces to explore tons of ideas. Here, quantity fuels quality, with unexpected breakthroughs often emerging from a free-flowing session.

5) Prototype
I craft interactive prototypes (think Figma) tailored to project needs. Fidelity adjusts based on stage and testing goals, allowing early detection of design issues and user experience improvements.

6) Test, Iterate, Repeat
Guerilla tests or in-depth sessions - I pick the right fit to refine the design. User feedback fuels improvements, ensuring a polished final product.

7) Handoff (Delivery)
I craft a clear handoff file with all design assets, specs, and guidelines. This ensures developers understand user needs, interaction details, and technical considerations, bridging the gap between design intent and a flawless user experience.

8) Follow-up
Design doesn't stop at launch. I track performance, iterate for improvement, and safeguard design integrity for a consistently optimal user experience.
My skill strenghts
Energetic and proactive, I bring fresh ideas and a relentless pursuit of improvement to every project. Driven by user experience, I thrive on challenges and innovation, making me a valuable asset for any team.
