Context
We undertook this project to enhance the quality and depth of information available on the Elevva dashboard. Our goal was not only to improve the data's accuracy but also to enrich the user experience by providing more detailed and relevant information to support strategic decisions.
Data Visualization
This effort involved a thorough review of our data sources, as well as the implementation of new tools and analysis techniques. This ensured that users had access to the most up-to-date and comprehensive information possible.
Elevva's Dashboard
It's important to understand that Elevva's platform is divided into six different sections: Metrics, Sales, Listings, Products, Files, and Integrations.
Ant Design
The development team had been using the Ant Design library, which offered a range of components and design solutions. This partnership enabled streamlined development, ensuring consistency in the user interface and facilitating the integration of new features and updates.

While the dashboard sections cover the basic needs of users, there was a crucial aspect of workflow that hadn't been given priority but should have been: product stock management.
Therefore, from the UX standpoint, I didn't just work on improving the current appearance of certain sections; I also focused on developing this new section.

Details of products and listings
Initially, we focused on refining the details of products and listings, paying particular attention to the use of graphics. This approach allowed us not only to enhance the visual presentation of information but also to provide users with a clearer and deeper understanding of their products and listings.
By improving the graphical representation of key metrics such as sales, inventory, and product performance, we were able to offer users a more powerful tool for analyzing and optimizing their business strategies.

Stock Management
While the Elevva platform has provided users with the ability to review metrics and monitor the status of their various products, until recently, access to information regarding stock levels had been unavailable. This absence had posed a significant limitation for users, as they were unable to directly and quickly access data related to product availability. However, in response to this need, we have recently implemented a new feature that allows users to view and manage stock efficiently and conveniently within the Elevva platform. This improvement represents a significant step forward in users' ability to make informed and strategic decisions regarding inventory management and order fulfillment.

Home
In the final stage, our focus shifted to enhancing the Metrics section, which essentially served as the platform's homepage. We completely revamped it to truly resemble a homepage, ensuring it looks attractive and functions effectively for users. In addition to improving its aesthetics, we also added several interactive elements and quick action buttons to provide a more convenient and efficient experience within the platform.
These quick actions allow users to perform important tasks quickly and easily, thereby enhancing their productivity and workflow while using Elevva.
Additionally, the survey provided us with insight into where to direct the new homepage, aligning it more closely with users' needs compared to our initial team expectations.

Final thoughts
My time at Elevva provided a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of stock management, logistics, and visual design. Collaborating closely with the team, I gained valuable insights in:
Inventory Optimization: I learned strategies for efficient inventory management, ensuring product availability and reducing costs.
Streamlining Supply Chains: I gained an understanding of supply chain optimization, contributing to smoother product delivery.
Data Visualization: I honed skills in creating effective visual representations of data, fostering clearer communication and decision-making.
Even though I was only with the team for a short period, around 6 months, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Elevva. As the sole designer for a new product, I never felt isolated thanks to the close collaboration with the development team.
